I am fully in the swing of Summer dressing right now, complete with my trusty Ray-Ban Sunglasses, even with the brief periods of rain we’re getting at the moment and I definitely feel like white is one of ‘my’ colours. The team at my fav shop sent me this dress, and although it doesn’t look like the picture, I still kind of like it. It’ll definitely make for a nice throw-over a bikini.

And talking of summer, since the #MOTELFESTIVAL event, I’ve been swooning over Motel Rocks’ swimwear range this year, particularly this sun, moon and stars print which is a popular fave among any Motel Rocks fan – and being a pretty dedicated swimmer, I was dead chuffed to get my hands on it finally, thanks to the team – and for all you lucky ladies going away this year, I really wanted to do a swimwear feature – it is summer after all!

I don’t think I’m fat one bit (sure I don’t have washboard abs and I’m not Adriana Lima), but being a girl of course sometimes there’s the whole ‘body confidence’ issue just like anyone else, so I chose this particular bikini to kind of battle that in a way. I think the layered top helps to balance out the body (especially if you’re major pear shaped like myself!) and even gives you a slight feeling of being that little more covered – and maybe even a little bustier if you’re a bit of an ironing board like myself!

You might also notice soon that I’ve become slightly, dangerously obsessed with slip-on trainers (like who needs the exact same style shoe in different colours and textures? Me quite clearly!) and at the moment this pair that Quiz sent me are 100% my faves!

And for your little life update in the world of Laura – I’m leaving my job for a month or so and Friday, so I have tons of time on my hands to keep on posting before all the LFW stuff needs finalizing, yay!
